Polyamide

Polyamide fabric is a term used to refer to a variety of different fabrics that are made from strings of polyamide monomers. The most famous form of polyamide fabric is nylon, but there are many different varieties of this textile. These fabrics are derived from carbon-based molecules, they are entirely synthetic. Polyamide is not biodegradable and since it is a plastic material it will release micro plastics when worn and washed.
